The Anantara experience was born in 2001 with our first luxury property in Thailand’s historic seaside retreat of Hua Hin. From that day forward, we expanded throughout the world to beaches and private islands, countryside retreats, desert sands, heritage wonders and cosmopolitan cities. Today’s portfolio spans Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

I truly enjoy the vibrant dynamics of our hotel and my department, where each day presents new experiences. Whether our guests are on holiday or traveling for business, it’s our mission to deliver personalized service and create memorable moments for each one of them.

Currently, as the Assistant Front Office Manager at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, I oversee the daily operations of the Front Office Teams. My responsibilities include training and mentoring team members, handling various tasks within our team such as check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring personalized service tailored to our guests needs.

My journey with Anantara started in the summer of 2020 as a Front Office Trainee. During this internship, I learned all processes behind Front Office operations, and as it took place during the pandemic, I did multiple cross-trainings in other departments such as Housekeeping and Food and Beverage in other hotels within Minor Hotels. I quickly finished my studies and returned to the hotel as a Receptionist and later advanced to Front Desk Manager. In these roles, I enhanced my leadership skills, welcomed (VIP) guests, handled special requests, trained new team members, and fostered connections with guests.

Among my favorite Anantara moments is the opportunity to explore our city's most magical places with our Concierge team during the onboarding. You'll naturally carry this special feeling over to our guests, enriching their own exploration and understanding of our city's magic. Furthermore, what I cherish most about working for the Anantara brand is the team. There’s a warmth among the teams where camaraderie and collaboration go hand in hand, and everyone’s contributions are valued. This sense of connection and unity is what sets the brand apart and makes me genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.
